Providing proof of identity
First we confirm your identity
Before you can use your card, we first confirm your identity. Not only do we see this as important ourselves, but we are also legally required to do so. We therefore ask the main cardholder to send proof that the name and address for the bank account you have given us corresponds to the name and address you have provided.
You can only unblock and use your card when you have provided this proof of identity.
Making a payment to your credit card account is the easiest way
The easiest way to confirm your identity is to make a payment from a bank account registered to the same name and address as your card.
- An amount of €0.01 is sufficient.
- Pay the amount to International Card Services, bank account number NL75 ABNA 0844 9970 56.
- In the reference field, fill in only your customer number. (You can find this in our correspondence to you, and in Creditcard Online.)
- You will then be able to unblock and use your card, usually within five working days.
If your bank account is a joint account
Your bank details may not correspond to your card details because the bank account is a joint account. In that case, please send us a scan or photocopy of the front of the main cardholder’s bank card as soon as possible. Many thanks!
Send a copy of your proof of identity by email or post
A proof of identity can be: a scan or photocopy of your identity document or bank card, a bank statement, or a letter from your bank addressed to you.

Bank account registered to the name or address of a business
If you want to pay from a bank account registered to the name or address of a business, the best way to do this is again by making a payment to your credit card account. In this case, from another Dutch bank account that is registered to the name and address of the main cardholder. An amount of €0.01 is enough.
Please make this payment to International Card Services, NL75 ABNA 0844 9970 56. In the reference field, fill in only your customer number. Once you have made this payment, you can pay us from whatever bank account you like.
