New Card design: typically ICS

In 2026, the ICS credit cards will get a new design, starting with the ICS Mastercard Black. The Card design fully matches the look and feel of our app and website. The credit cards also feature a distinctive notch and are made from 100% recycled PVC. You can keep using your credit card the same way you already do: paying with peace of mind. Online and all over the world.

Spot the differences

These are the most noticeable changes to the credit cards:

Name and expiry date on the back

For ease of use and privacy, we have moved your name and the expiry date to the back of new ICS credit cards.

Made from recycled material

This new credit card is made from 100% recycled PVC. This is more sustainable, as it reduces the need for new raw materials and helps reduce plastic waste.

Distinctive notch and coloured edge

The new credit card has a distinctive notch and a coloured edge. This makes it easier to recognise your Card in your wallet. The notch also helps people who are blind or visually impaired to tell our credit cards apart from cards without a notch. The notch has a different shape from the notch on some debit cards.

Personal details printed instead of embossed

On the new credit cards, your Card number and name are printed instead of embossed. This makes the Card feel thinner and easier to fit into your wallet. The ink is scratch-resistant and does not fade easily.

When will you receive the new credit card?

Once we announce a new credit card design, there is a good chance you will receive this design when you apply for a new Card. However, you may still receive a Card with the old design. This is because we always use up our existing stock first. That way, we avoid wasting plastic.

Please look out for phishing and fraud. We will never ask for your login details or PIN. Not even when you apply for a new credit card. We will also never ask you to send us your old credit card.
