Withdrawing your Card

Are you a consumer and did you enter into a credit card agreement with us online? Then you have a 14-day cooling-off period. During this period, you can cancel your credit card without giving us a reason. This is called your right of withdrawal.

The right of withdrawal applies if you, as a consumer, enter into an agreement remotely. For example, online.

The 14 calendar days start from the moment we approve your credit card application. You will receive an email about this.

If it has been more than 14 days since we approved your credit card application, you can no longer use your right of withdrawal. You can still cancel your credit card at any time. To do this, log in to Creditcard Online, go to ‘My Cards’ and then to ‘Cancel credit card’. Select a different reason than ‘I want to use my right of withdrawal’ and confirm your cancellation.

Your credit card agreement ends immediately after you confirm your withdrawal in Creditcard Online. Your credit card and any linked Extra Cards will also end immediately. You can download a confirmation straight away. You will also receive confirmation by email.

You can still withdraw from the credit card agreement without giving us a reason. If there is an outstanding balance or positive balance on your credit card, we will send you a statement showing how much you still need to pay or how much you will get back.

Have you already paid the Card fee? Then we'll refund the amount for the period after your credit card ends. This will be shown on your statement.

Are any Extra Cards linked to a Main Card, which you cancel with the reason 'I want to use my right of withdrawal'? Then your Main Card and Extra Cards will stop as soon as you confirm your withdrawal.

Payments for subscriptions charged to your credit card will stop. Remember to update your payment details with those companies or organisations.
