Changes to the Terms and Conditions

We have rewritten terms such as Company Limit, Spending Limit and Card Account. The definitions are now clearer and more detailed. This reduces the risk of misunderstanding.

We describe more clearly the responsibilities of the Cardholder, the Contact Person and the Authorised Signatory. This makes it easier to see who within your organisation can apply for, change, block or cancel a Card. It helps you make clear internal agreements about who is allowed to arrange what.

If you apply for a credit card for an employee, you are required to establish and verify that person’s identity. A retention period applies to the identification data.

Under the old Terms and Conditions, you had to keep these details for five years after the end of the Card agreement. Under the new Terms and Conditions, this has been extended to seven years. This retention period aligns with the legal requirements for customer due diligence and access by supervisory authorities.

In the new Terms and Conditions, we explain more clearly how the Digital Business Credit Card and Virtual Cards work. We also describe how transactions are approved in the ICS Business App and which additional rules apply.

The explanation of spending capacity, Card limits, company limits and authorisations has been updated. It describes more clearly how transactions are processed and when an authorisation affects your available spending capacity.

We make a clearer distinction between disputing a payment (for example, due to an incorrect amount) and an unauthorised transaction. You will also find the applicable time limits and the information required for assessment.

The security rules have been expanded, covering the use of PINs, passwords, SMS codes and biometrics. It also states more clearly what you must do in the event of loss, misuse or theft of a Card.

The description of insurances and guarantees is more concise and logically structured. The key features of the purchase protection insurance, delivery guarantee and internet guarantee are summarised, so you can see which cover fits the credit cards within your company.
