What is Purchase Protection Insurance?

Purchase Protection Insurance is standard for an ICS business credit card. This means that you are almost always insured for (online) purchases. From the date of purchase, virtually every purchase you make is insured against theft and loss for 180 days. Want more security? For € 8 per year, you have an Extended Purchase Protection Insurance and your purchases are insured for no less than 365 days.

Pay for purchases with your ICS business credit card. Do you plan to buy an item online or in the store that can easily be damaged or vulnerable to loss or theft? Virtually all purchases made with your corporate ICS credit card are insured for up to 180 days from the date of purchase against loss, theft or damage.

Purchase Protection Insurance is useful in the following situation, for example:

• You purchase new laptops for your company to upgrade the current ones via an online provider.
• A new employee drops the laptop during their first week of work and the laptop is damaged.

Via the Purchase Protection Insurance of your ICS business credit card, you are entitled to the total amount of the purchased laptop. If you decide to proceed with repair or replacement, these costs will also be reimbursed.

The insurance takes effect immediately from the moment you make the purchase. The purchased product is insured for 180 days immediately. You also make purchases abroad or via the internet.

Reporting damage

If your purchase is lost, damaged or stolen, please inform us by telephone and as soon as possible. We will immediately send you a claim form.

Send the claim form and supporting documents

In order to settle your claim and pay out the purchase value to you, we need a fully completed and signed claim form, proof of purchase and proof of declaration in the event of theft or loss. Insured from the moment of purchase.

Claims, repairs and own risk

• Submit a claim by telephone and we will send you a claim form immediately. And within four weeks of receiving your notification, we will refund you the purchase value of the product.
• In the event of loss or theft, you will receive the purchase price back. The Purchase Protection Insurance also covers replacement and repair costs.
• You have an excess of € 50 per claim.
